FC-100EG Digitall Printed Badges with Engraved Names

Combining the best of both worlds, this badge features the brilliance of a full color logo and the classic look of engraving. We digitally print your logo in beautiful full color, then engrave your name for long lasting elegance.

The base price for a digitally printed and engraved badge includes:


  • Full color logo
  • Up to two lines of personalization engraved in a standard font.
  • Standard attachment (pin or swivel bulldog)
  • Badge sheared to any custom size, up to a maximum of 2 1/8″ x 3 3/8″ (the same size as a credit card but twice as thick.)
  • Rounded corners or squared corners, with or without beveled edges, are included at no extra charge.

Badge and Sign Store's advanced computer technology can place any computer graphics file on a rugged, plastic badge. No matter how complex and colorful your company logo and artwork may be, our thermal transfer printing equipment can turn it into a badge or card. There are no limits on the number of colors or the type styles you choose. And to make them even more flexible, these badges can be written on with a Sharpie® and then wiped clean with alcohol.

Know what we do
Sizes
We do not have a "standard" size as all our badges are custom designed and manufactured to your specifications. We do have a maximum size of 3.375" x 2.125", which is the size of a credit card.

Thickness
Digitally printed badges with engraved names are printed on 2 ply material that is .060" thick.

Materials
White faced plastic with black engraving is the norm but if you want something a little different, we have that too. Be sure to ask about our brushed silver or brushed gold options.

Shapes
Square or rectangular shapes are customary and are included in the price of the badge. We can make custom shapes, they just cost a little more.
File Types
Sorry to all the Apple fans out there, we are a PC based company. Vector formats are best for production so send us your EPS, AI, or CDR files. If you have a PDF, we may be able to use it and will let you know if we can't. While we can print from other files such as JPG or BMP, we cannot control those formats in terms of color or quality.		 Sending Your Files
The easiest way to get your files to us to to e-mail computer files directly to Badge and Sign Store. If you send us the native files, it is helpful to also send a PDF so we can verify everything came through correctly.

PMS Color Matching
There is an additional charge for PMS color matching. PMS color matches are one time and reprints will match the original. If you proceed with a PMS match, we will match the color as closely as our printing process allows. If color is critical, we suggest a spec sample, just ask us how.
Background Colors
Most badges are printed on a white plastic material that has a differently colored core. The core color is the color that the engraving will be. We do have brushed silver and brushed gold materials available for just a little extra.

Solid color printed backgrounds
Our printers allow us to print in millions of colors. We can print full bleeds and gradients all at no extra cost. Some color combinations don't play well together (Gray on silver especially). If you're unsure, just ask.
When you design your engraved badge, you may choose to use any one of the following 24 type styles at no extra charge. If you have a favorite font, we can use it, but there is a small fee.


We offer a variety of accessories and attachments for your badge. Jeweler's Pins and Swivel Bulldogs are included in the price of the badge. Other attachments are available for a small upcharge
